Purpose

To advance New Jersey’s leadership in the online gaming and financial technology (FinTech) industries and to promote economic mobility for underserved New Jersey residents via workforce development initiatives, innovation and new business incubation in the FinTech and Online Gambling industries, with a particular focus on:

Gamble4Good

Gamble4Good is a program created by the Innovation Center to address the perception issues faced by the legal/regulated gambling industry. These negative perceptions create significant headwinds for the industry including slowing growth, increased regulatory restrictions and fines, and issues attracting top talent. Gamble4Good is a comprehensive approach to dealing with all the areas of the industry that impact how it is perceived.

Following our very successful first industry roundtable, we are hosting our 2nd industry roundtable on May 6, 2024. This invitation only roundtable will bring together leaders from across the industry to discuss issues and challenges facing the industry and potential solutions and ideas for collaboration. The focus of this roundtable will be on Talent. We are inviting reps from NJ universities to join us to talk about the current and future talent needs of the industry and how universities and the state of New Jersey can support those needs.
